Description: This piece is based on a photo I took in Nederland CO when the aspen leaves were changing in the fall. It is so amazing to see the dynamic Colorado mountains peppered with yellows and oranges when fall finally approaches. The thin aspen leaves almost seem to shimmer when the wind passes through them as they dance and move. Ever since I moved to Colorado I loved the fall because in my head it is the equivalent of a sunset, the transition of day to night, or the transition of summer to winter.
